Each year, we work alongside different organizations to help support those in need during the holiday season. This year, for Spirit of Giving, we will be collecting donations to go toward the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative, and Antioch Revival Center to help the homeless population in the Milwaukee area. Between these organizations, items are collected to give to those who are currently homeless and those who are transitioning from homelessness into a home.
For those who are currently homeless, there is a huge need for warm clothing, winter gear, and blankets, especially as we enter into the winter season. This is especially important as most shelters are completely full. Many veterans who have worked hard to secure housing are in need of basic furnishings. Items such as household goods and furnishings, bedding, toiletries, and kitchenware can go a long way toward helping these individuals find a fresh start.
Donated items can be new or most can be used and in good condition.
